Who and Why?
Why not subscribe to my email list - I send out the odd recipe that needs to be shared - but I don't bombard you with emails and I never share your email address with anyone!
Whole Food Plant Based is probably the best description I can give as to how I feed my family, as the majority of their food is natural whole foods and plants. There is the odd occasion when they eat goat or sheep cheese, however we completely stick to nut milks, coconut milk, soya and hemp, and raw organic honey is on the menu too! What would you call this style of eating food? I call it 'healthy' and it definitely works for us!!
That all said, I'm not at all strict if they go to parties or friends. I prefer to let them make those decisions for themselves as the situations arise. More often than not they make really good choices, and can feel the difference in their bodies when they don't - it's all one big learning curve in my opinion!
I'm currently studying Nutrition and Naturopathy in my spare time when I'm not illustrating, and I find as I learn more, this influences my choices in the kitchen.
I started this website as a way to keep a record of the recipes I use often and also to inspire my friends and family - it's just my version of how I feed the people I love! I get a lot of satisfaction from nurturing my family and hopefully I can inspire others to do the same.
